I own few possessions. I knit, crochet, sew, etc. -I'm mildly claustrophilic (and I love Greek/Latin word origins, by the way). -Wool socks or old books are always really great gift ideas. -Politics are not a topic I like to discuss. I associate with neither party. Actually, I prefer to avoid arguments as a rule. -I love Doctor Who more than I can adequately explain. Also a fan of Star Trek TOS and Lord of the Rings. Geek/nerd/dork are all accurate words to describe me. -I like hot drinks (particularly coffee), flannel, Americana/indie music (banjos/fiddle are great), sweaters, giant dogs, and brains. What I seek in a man: -As mentioned, a Christian man. Protestant, specifically. -21 to... older than that? I don't have a set upper limit, largely because I have a maturity level beyond the average 20-year-old. -Taller than 5'8", at least reasonably fit, not a bro or a slob (with apologies to both; I just really don't find that appealing). If you wear sweatpants/pajamas in public, it's a no-go. A beard or love of flannel and/or suits is a definite plus, but I'm not actually picky. -Intelligence. And it is best if it is well-rounded. If you do not care to construct sentences with proper grammar (though informality is obviously fine, since I have that going on in this post with all my fragments), I probably won't respond, even if you are a brilliant scientist. -Not loud or argumentative. -A gentleman, I suppose. -Passionate about something. -Blunt, but in a polite fashion.
